Chicago's nightlife is brimming with exciting things to see and do.  There is never a dull moment in the Windy City, what with the myriad of clubs, bars, restaurants, and all sorts of other recreational activities.  

Potential Lords of the Dance may want to check out Illusion's, owned by none other than Dennis Rodman; you know anything with his name on it has to be impressive, right?  Another highlight of the club scene has to be Polly Esther's, one of a chain of disco-themed, chintzed-up fun.

It is well-known that Chicago is a Mecca for the blues, and as a result there are a plethora of jazz and blues clubs, all worthy of your nighttime fun.  For example, the Checkerboard Lounge is a long-standing icon of the genre, and features big-name performers.

Rush Street is the name given to the place where all the good bars can be found, but we don't recommend actually looking there...stick to the Division Street area, especially where it intersects Clark and State Streets; you'll thank us later.  Be on the lookout for such drinkeries as the Lodge and the Gingerman Tavern.

Chicago has in insatiable appetite for sports, and there are more than a few choice spots to pop in and enjoy a cocktail or five while watching the Big Game.  Two noteworthy establishments are Sluggers and Hi-Tops Cafe, both in very close proximity to Wrigley Field, home of Sosa and the Cubs.

Finally, don't miss out on the opportunity to roll in the aisles at one of the city's stellar comedy clubs.  Zanies on North Wells Street features the best of the best, while ComedySportz generates more of a competitive atmosphere by pitting two comedians against each other in a battle for crowd favoritism.

As you can see, the problem isn't "what to do?" as much as "do I have time to do it all?".  Nobody is bored when the sun sets, and with the proper research, you'll be on your way to painting the town red before you know it.
